IVL GLOBAL WATER MANAGEMENT POLICY AND STRATEGY
Water is a vital resource for both life and our operations. The world’s water consumption year on year has been increasing more than twice the rate of population growth over the last century, according to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

Increasing water stress, droughts, floods, and a rise in sea levels are growing concerns both in the developed and developing regions of the world. The Global Risks Report 2016 lists the water crisis among the top 10 global risks in terms of likelihood and number three in terms of impact.

In Indorama Ventures PCL (‘the Company or IVL”), we use water for various applications in the plant operation and is obtained from multiple sources in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Sufficient quantity of good quality water is becoming scarcity in the world. IVL is aware of this and wants to demonstrate its responsibility through its efficient water management stewardship.
