We aim to strengthen the capacity of the communities we work and live in by focusing on risk reduction and management of health risks by improving local standards of living and extending  health provision to employees’ families and the surrounding community to ensure our workforce and next of kin have access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines.

Operation Smile Project



In 2013, we entered into a strategic partnership with Operation Smile, a charitable organization, to provide free surgery for children with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. We are continuing our support with the mission to provide financial assistance to help remote hospitals offer full-time surgeries but which lack the necessary funds. In addition to corporate contributions year 2016 Mrs. Suchitra Lohia, Director and Chairperson of the CSR Committee of Indorama Ventures and volunteer employees join a Medical Mission at Mae Hong Son and head office staffs Bangkok make special armbands for children to prevent them from touching their faces ensuring their operation was successful and they healed without complications

In 2016, 317 children received this surgery so they can live happy and healthy lives is a charitable medical service organization which IVL is pleased to be supporting since.

Others CSR projects



IVL’s subsidiary in Rayong, Thailand arranged a free mobile medical clinic at Nong Fab temple in Rayong (Left) while Micro Polypet, India provided a free ambulance service for a community nearby (Right).


IVL’s subsidiaries in the US have generated funds for the United Way that helps in advancing education, health and income.
StarPet provided funds to Habitat for Humanity, an organization that is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poor housing conditions.
Two employees at Indorama Ventures Xylenes and PTA took the initiative and organized a charitable activity where a group of volunteers made 25 soft blankets for sick children suffering from cancer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.


IVL head office Bangkok donate money to support Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation and donate fibers to Friend Helping Friends foundation to making bras for breast cancer patients and our employees devote their time sewing bra to donate to breast cancer patients.
