Indorama Petrochem receives the Environmental Governance Award 2014 (Green Star Project) from IEAT

On June 5, 2015, Indorama Petrochem, represented by Mr. Sandeep P. Kamat (Senior Vice President & Site Head), received the Environmental Governance Award (Green Star Award) 2014 from Dr. Verapong Chaiperm, Governor of Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), at IEAT Map Ta Phut Office. Indorama Petrochem received this award for excellent performance on environmental management, safety, and social responsibility. It has won this award for three years.

Indorama Petrochem received excellent ratings in all audit topics: water management, waste/industrial waste management, air/noise management, NOx, SO2, VOCs, safety in work areas, accident/incident management and complaint handling, green area inside plant, support to communities and social participation, logistics management, accuracy of relevant data and international standard management system.
