Bangkok, Thailand – 15 April 2020 – Yash Lohia, Chief Recycling Officer at Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global chemical producer, said, “We are determined to support the medical staff who are carrying a huge workload during this Covid-19 outbreak. We have partnered with Thai Plaspac Public Company Limited (TPAC), a consumer and pharmaceutical packaging company and Yanhee Vitamin Water Company Limited, a subsidiary of Yanhee Hospital, to donate 650,000 bottles of Yanhee Vitamin Water, to public medical institutions and hospitals in Bangkok and vicinity. This is to support and thank medical personnel dealing with Covid-19 cases and patients.”

Dr. Sappasit Sumritvanitcha, Executive Director of Yanhee Vitamin Water Co., Ltd., said, “The spread of this virus has a chance of slowing down in the near future if we all take responsibility in personal prevention methods following government policies, especially social-distancing. We strongly hope that this contribution from Yanhee Vitamin Water and our two partners will help support and encourage medical personnel in performing their duties. We would like to sincerely express our gratitude to all who have been dedicating themselves to help the public.”

Medical institutes and hospitals that will receive Yanhee Vitamin Water include Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute, Phramongkutklao Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Vajira Hospital. Central Chest Institute of Thailand, Priest Hospital, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Police General Hospital, Phra Nang Klao Hospital Nonthaburi, and others.

This collaboration reflects a good relationship between the organizations, as IVL started supplying bottles to Yanhee Vitamin Water since 2017 with TPAC supplying the iconic closures. As the demand is increasing, IVL has decided to increase capacity of PET bottle by investing 75 million Baht in a state-of-art production facility at Nakhon Pathom with the capacity of 250 million PET bottles per year. The extended capacity will enable Yanhee Vitamin Water to better support the wellbeing of consumers.
