Bangkok, Thailand – 15 April 2020 – Yash Lohia, Chief Recycling Officer at Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global chemical producer, said, “We are determined to support the medical staff who are carrying a huge workload during this Covid-19 outbreak. We have partnered with Thai Plaspac Public Company Limited (TPAC), a consumer and pharmaceutical packaging company and Yanhee Vitamin Water Company Limited, a subsidiary of Yanhee Hospital, to donate 650,000 bottles of Yanhee Vitamin Water, to public medical institutions and hospitals in Bangkok and vicinity. This is to support and thank medical personnel dealing with Covid-19 cases and patients.”

Dr. Sappasit Sumritvanitcha, Executive Director of Yanhee Vitamin Water Co., Ltd., said, “The spread of this virus has a chance of slowing down in the near future if we all take responsibility in personal prevention methods following government policies, especially social-distancing. We strongly hope that this contribution from Yanhee Vitamin Water and our two partners will help support and encourage medical personnel in performing their duties. We would like to sincerely express our gratitude to all who have been dedicating themselves to help the public.”

Yash Lohia added “As the coronavirus pandemic continues to grow, we are overwhelmed with gratitude as doctors, nurses and healthcare personnel continue to work tirelessly across the country. This is our way of saying thank you and we continue to look for more ways in which we can help out.”

Kevin Sharma, Chief Executive Officer at Thai Plaspac PCL, said, “We are forever indebted to the bravery of the medical community and it is an honor for TPAC to be able to contribute towards our heroes on the frontline.’

Medical institutes and hospitals that will receive Yanhee Vitamin Water include Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute, Phramongkutklao Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Vajira Hospital. Central Chest Institute of Thailand, Priest Hospital, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Police General Hospital, Phra Nang Klao Hospital Nonthaburi, and others.

This collaboration reflects a good relationship between the organizations, as IVL started supplying bottles to Yanhee Vitamin Water since 2017 with TPAC supplying the iconic closures.
