Bangkok, Thailand, 27 November 2023 - Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical company led by Dr. Anthony M. Watanabe (3rd from left), Chief Sustainability Officer, and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, recently won the Best-in-Class for the special Thai Development Award for the first year. The company also received the Recognition with Silver status for the 2023 AMCHAM Corporate Social Impact Awards for the second consecutive year from the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM), at the InterContinental Bangkok.

Indorama Ventures’ Best-in-Class for the special Thai Development Award, derived from its “PET Bottles for a Better Tomorrow” project in collaboration with Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited to collect post-consumer PET bottles from the local communities around their facility and convert them into high quality recycled polyester yarn that aligns with the principles of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy model. Both recognitions demonstrate Indorama Ventures' ongoing commitment to conducting business responsibly and creating a positive impact on society, aligning with its three-pronged CSR pillars: Knowledge, Community Care, and Environment.
