Subject: IVL's subsidiary acquires Utilities' Assets in Netherlands
Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), is pleased to announce that it
has reached an agreement to wholly acquire a 24 MW utility plant co-located at
its site in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Currently, the utility plant supplies steam, electricity, compressed air,
cooling and filtered water to the PTA and PET facilities at Rotterdam site
owned and operated by IVL subsidiaries Indorama Holdings Rotterdam B.V. (IRHR)
and Indorama Holdings Polymers B.V. (IRPR),
IRHR, will acquire the assets of this utility plant and for the purpose has
entered into a binding agreement with Europoort Utility Partners VOF (EUP).
The transaction is expected to close in May 2010 subject to the regulatory
approvals.
The transaction value will be less than 15% of the total asset value of IVL
consolidated as at 2009 year end. Therefore, the Company is not subject to any
disclosure requirement under the rules, procedures and disclosure of
information regarding the Acquisition and Disposition of Assets.
