The Corporate CSR team participated in the Go Green Bike Rally at Riverside Plaza, Bangkok, Thailand. The Bike Rally is held every year to raise funds for a local charity that helps children with disabilities. Besides the 20-kilometer bike ride, bikers participated in a tree planting activity to help enhance environment in the area.

More than 200 bikers took part in the event this year, wearing jerseys made from PET recycled yarn. The PET bottles were collected at our drop point in front of the event, and will be delivered to our recycling facility in Nakhon Pathom.

This event also announced a partnership between IVL and Riverside plaza. Beginning next year, IVL will be the sole partner in collecting post-consumer PET bottles from a shopping plaza and nearby houses and condominiums for recycling, as well as providing recycling education to residents and the surrounding communities.
