Indorama Venture Rayong teams unite in coastal cleanup efforts on International Coastal Cleanup Day
On September 21, 2024, the teams in Rayong, Thailand, participated in a coastal cleanup at Laem Cha Reon Beach on International Coastal Cleanup Day, uniting to raise awareness about responsible waste management and foster team spirit.
During the event, participants collected and sorted 83.3 kilograms of waste to ensure proper disposal. This included 33 black bags containing contaminated plastics, wet paper, and fabric scraps; five white bags filled with recyclable glass and plastic bottles; and one red bag with hazardous items such as batteries, light bulbs, and aerosol cans.
This initiative benefited the environment, helped protect the coastal area, and provided an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between employees and their families. Despite the hot weather, participants worked together enthusiastically, sharing smiles and creating memories.
