Investing in Education to Build a Brighter Future for Youth in Kaiping Community
On February 27, our Fibers (IVMKP) team in Kaiping, China, recently reinforced their commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by sponsoring a scholarship program at Gang Kou Middle School. The program supports academic excellence by awarding scholarships in two categories: the Junior High School Entrance Examination Overall Score Excellence Award, benefiting the top 20 students, and the Junior High School Entrance Examination Management Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding classes and benefits 200 students and 12 teachers. Aligned with our annual sustainability plan, this initiative was warmly welcomed by both teachers and students, providing meaningful support to the school and community.
Beyond CSR, the scholarship program demonstrates Indorama Ventures' ongoing commitment to building good relationships with stakeholders and contributing to the local community in a sustainable and impactful way.
