Bangkok, Thailand – 29 October 2014 - Mr Aloke Lohia, Indorama Ventures Vice Chairman and Group CEO, was invited by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) to give ‘Tone from the Top’ presentation at the Anti-corruption for Executives Program (ACEP) 13/2014 on 29 October 2014. Mr Lohia shared his top-down leadership experience as well as Indorama Ventures’ working processes that successfully supported anti-corruption implementation practicesin the organization to directors and high-ranking fellow executives. The group of participants from various business sectors who joined this program including petrochemicals, business banking, insurance, property development, construction.

Indorama Ventures has adopted an anti-corruption framework using a different approach, including policy awareness and implementation of compliance that has led the company to create an anti-corruption culture in the company and helped it to become one of the Collective Action Against Corruption(CAC) certified companies in Thailand.

The ACEP program is organized by the Thai IOD, and is aimed to provide C-suite, targeted participants, with an understanding of anti-corruption perceptions, their roles in laying a proper foundation for anti-corruption framework, and also to enhance their capabilities of establishing a leading role in preventing corruption in the workplace.
