Sharing IVL's Recycling Education and including Informal Waste Workers, IVL join the "Social Fiction Thinkathon" as part of the Social Business Day event. More than 100 youth, environment activists, and informal waste workers from Southeast Asia participated in this program. This is a hybrid event with 4 countries' physical hubs: Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities (SEED4COM) in Philippines, Probha Aurora in Bangladesh, Zero Waste Laos, in Laos, and Yunus Foundation in Thailand.

In this event, we encourage the circular economy and recycling education to be taught in every school so that we can incubate and create generations of waste heroes who understand the importance of recycling, recycling collections and saving the planet. Meanwhile, we are a part of helping develop an overarching dialogue policy for informal waste workers and understand their challenges in order to build a social business that empowers informal waste workers and creates truly regional circular economy programs.
