On November 7, the CPET team in Decatur, Alabama continues its tradition of welcoming 40 chemical engineering students and faculty staff from the University of Alabama-Huntsville, offering a firsthand look at the company’s operations and sustainability journey.

The plant tour featured a visit to the control room, where operators shared insights into their day-to-day responsibilities and engaged with students on topics such as engineering career paths, operational roles, and the critical collaboration between engineers and operators for safe, efficient plant management. Students and faculty also explored discussions on on-site operations, innovative technologies, and process methodologies.
